Meet the Team

  • Writer/Director

    Alex Terreault is a freelance filmmaker/writer that specializes in narrative based storytelling. He graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Film/Media. Outside of a diverse freelance background ranging from weddings to commercials, Alex has written screenplays, directed two short films; Demme and Cheap Heat, he has also produced a short film Mia, as well as worked on feature films in camera departments and as a script supervisor. Alex currently works at Legacy Collective RI as their Operations Coordinator.

  • Writer/Producer

    Louie Barroso has been making words play with intention for 14 years in many different forms. Beginning with poetry, then turning to rapping & music blogging, he is now a poet and creative content writer that challenges himself to be versed in all aspects revolving around writing. This has also lead to working on projects as a production assistant, script writer, and associate producer. He encourages everyone to write in some way and is always working on becoming the best advocate he can be for Rhode Island writers. Currently, Louie works at Legacy Collective RI as Relationship Manager.

  • Executive Producer

    Ian Travis Barnard has been creating imagery for over 15 years across multiple mediums and genres. From working with celebrities gracing the cover of Billboard Magazine to developing short documentaries for MIT, he has had a diverse amount of experience in creating all types of content. These days, Ian mostly works as a director and producer on short format videos that are community oriented and impact focused and is the Executive Director of Legacy Collective RI.

  • Producer/Makeup Department Head

    Bianca Corso is a professional makeup artist with experience in TV & film, bridal, runway, print/editorial. She has worked with networks such as E! and PBS. Bianca was nominated for “Best Makeup” at La Jolla IFF for her work in The Visitation. She also held the position of Makeup Dept. Head for Patron Saint (2019 Academy Award Winner) and How I Learned To Die (executive producer Spike Lee) . She has also held the positions of Makeup Dept. Head for the feature films Playland and The Game of Love.

    Due to her experience on set and her ability to adapt and problem solve, Bianca has been successful stepping away from the makeup chair and utilizing her talents in production, working as a producer on the short film Cheap Heat and short film Mia.

  • Executive Producer

    Ed Brady is a producer, social entrepreneur and community leader from Cranston, Rhode Island. After studying business, communication and film at Bryant University and gaining early experience on sets in Hollywood, he returned home to build a career centered on creative development and service. Ed is a cofounder of several local ventures including The Thirsty Beaver Pub, Cranston Cares, Kids Con and RI Night Market, and he supports numerous nonprofits throughout the state through advisory roles and hands on involvement.

    His work in film includes associate producer credits with Verdi Productions and collaborations with directors Tom DeNucci and Glen Ciano, along with helping bring the production of Good Burger 2 to Rhode Island. Ed also played an instrumental role in preserving The Park Theatre in Cranston, now celebrating its 100th anniversary while also leading the effort to renovate his high school theatre at Cranston West.

    As the executive producer and co creator of The Search, Ed brings a passion for uplifting local talent and building creative opportunities that strengthen the community.

  • Director of Photography

    Rich Ferri is a cinematographer based in Rhode Island with a focus on commercial, fashion, music, and documentary filmmaking. He has worked independently and in collaboration with production companies to produce content for a wide range of brands, non-profits, and advocacy organizations.
